My name is Sabrina Fest, I am fifteen years old, and I live in Tucson, Arizona. I got to know your special program to China by my dear ballerina friend, Alissa, who has been with your programs for several years. Today I was so exciting by reading all your blog about the tour in China and immediately make me want to write this letter to you (please excuse me don’t know which email address I should use, so I just use this feedback message to write down what I feel) to tell you how excellent of a program it is and how much it attracted me. I am very interested in this program and like to use this opportunity to introduce myself to you.
I started to learn ballet since I was five at Tucson Academy Ballet School, as well as taking tap and jazz. Now I am with Tucson Regional Ballet Company. During all those year, I enjoyed very much dancing and participating in many of the school’s annual Recitals and holiday performances such as the “Southwest Nutcracker” with so many different roles: Party girl, Soldiers, Road Runner, child under the gingerbread skirt, Flower, Snow, Arabian, and Chinese.
Beside dancing, I also have played piano for ten years and I love to sing also. Recently I participated in Desert Christian High School’s Musical: “Scarlet Pimpernel”, of cause I was a principal dancer there, acted, and sang a duet with my “daughter”.
The program attracted me also because it is going to China. Since I was six years old, I started to learn Chinese in Tucson Chinese School (once a week) and I have been awarded the first place for seven years on Chinese Speech Competition. And also I learned Chinese dance in Chinese dancing class and actually I will perform Chinese dance soon on Chinese New Year Concert on Jan 23rd of 2012 in Tucson.
I think it is amazing that you would give the opportunity to young dancers to travel across the globe, especially China, to experience something new and exciting. I am looking forward to an opportunity to join in your program. I would appreciate it very much if you could send me some further information to guide me how I will meet your requirements to join in your program!
